Happy Monday! Hope everyone got to enjoy the beautiful weekend like we did. This past month has flown by and we can't believe Bailey is already 2 months old!

Bailey's 2 month checkup was this morning and she weighs in at 11 lbs. 13 oz. and is 23-1/2" long! This was a rough one because we had 4 vaccines, 3 of them shots, so now we are home resting and will be doing lots of snuggling today.
Bailey is getting a lot more active everyday, playing with her toys, reading her books, having conversations with Daddy, pushing herself up on her legs and of course, dancing. Bailey loves music as much as her Mommy. Everyday we have dance parties to get the day going. We turn Pandora on and groove to Beyonce, Rhianna, Britney and some old school Salt 'N Peppa. Whenever we get a little fussy, Mom switches it over to the country station and we sing along to Lady A, Miranda, Carrie and The Wreckers, but our go to song is "Girl Crush" because it never fails to calm us down. She started singing along with her Mommy and the music and has the sweetest smiling face when she does.

This month has gone by so fast and was filled with a lot of fun moments. We had lots of visitors, went on a lot of lunch dates, went to our first and second concert, stopped by a BBQ festival...and that was all last weekend! One of our favorite weekly events is Grandma-Mommy-Bailey date where we do a little shopping, enjoy lunch at a new place and other fun activities every Friday. We've had a lot of luck at garage sales this year and found some great toys that she can grow into. Plus we get to show off a new outfit!
We have also found our happy place in one of the least likeliest places, our changing pad. It never fails, as soon as we set her down, Bailey starts smiling, making silly faces and posing for the many pics Mom takes. Our second would probably be the Boppy on Mom's lap!

We enjoyed our first Father's Day starting with brunch with Daddy, Grandpa and Uncle Mat. Even though we slept through most of it, she still looked cute!

Bailey loves playing on her play mat that our good friend, Bree and her little girl Everly let us borrow! She loves the sound and lights from the sun and she has started swatting and grabbing the toys and rattles attached.

This past week, Grandma came in from Kentucky and we spent all week playing and snuggling. We went on a lot of walks, had our first trip to the Nelson Atkins Museum and did a little shopping at IKEA and Target! Then on Friday, Aunt Erin, Uncle Matt and Aunt Amanda came to visit with us and we walked down to the Community Center for our first concert, went to the Lenexa BBQ and danced to the live band and dined al fresco most of the weekend because it was beautiful out! We had so much fun, it's going to be hard to see them leave tonight! Here are some of our favorite pics from our weekend adventures:

These past two months have gone by so fast but we are enjoying every minute. This weekend will be our first long road trip adventure to Fargo to see our Easter Family :) and our first wedding! We will have more pics from that adventure soon! Hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!
