That's right, we'll be adding a little princess to our family in April and Miss Bailey couldn't be any more excited. She even pointed to my belly this weekend and said "Sissy". Good thing we have plenty of bows and tutus around the house. Baby Girl #2 is growing well and is as squirmy as her big sister was so it hard to get a clear picture during our ultrasound.
Baby Girl #2 profile
Bailey is 19 months old today and is one wild and crazy girl. She has so much energy we wish we could bottle it up and sell it...we'd be rich! She loves playing dress up, jumping on the trampoline and on her zebra, kissing her brother on the mouth, coloring, playing with play doh and running around the house. She is getting more and more talkative everyday adding "me" (a current favorite), "ho, ho, ho" whenever she sees Santa, "baby", "what", "bye-bye" and "apple". She loves playing outdoors in the dirt and the leaves, sliding backwards down slides, jumping up and down, sneaking up on Dad and doing a sumo stance run towards him. She loves to go shopping and can be a handful on Mom's back when we get a little too close to an item on the shelf. She loves celebrating holidays and loves all things Christmas. Everytime she sees a Santa, she yells "Ho, ho, ho" and squeals with delight. We hope that continues when we get to see him in person. Keeping the Christmas tree upright will be a challenge this year and we have already had to taper down our decorations to avoid curious little fingers. She is such a sweet girl and is getting more outgoing each day. She loves to wave at everyone she meets and blow kisses. We love watching her grow into the sweet little princess she is.
We hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We have a lot to be thankful for this year and love to get a chance to celebrate all we have been blessed with. This Thanksgiving was a small one this year and really missed my Dad, who is still in China, and Brian's parents, who decided to go to North Carolina this year, but we had a lot of fun with Grandma and Uncle Mat. Bailey loved to help in the kitchen...I think we have a little baker on our hands and she really enjoyed the taste testing. We are really fortunate that she is a great eater and will try anything in front of her. She really loved the mashed potatoes and Dad's famous hashbrown casserole!

And Thanksgiving weekend wouldn't be complete without a Fairy Princess Breakfast at Zona Rosa! My Mom and I have worked this event for (we think) nine years, but I missed it last year because the weather was a little to icy to get out. This was Miss Bailey's first time and even though she only had about 4 hours of sleep (because we wanted to party until 2am) she had a blast. She loved wearing one of her favorite princess dresses and seeing all the girls in their pretty dresses. She was fascinated by the Fairy Princess and wanted to follow her around the Grove. When the ballerinas came out to dance to Disney songs, our little Princess could barely contain her excitement! They asked for dance volunteers and she immediately jumped up and ran to a dancer dressed as Pocahontas. Being the littlest one there didn't bother her at all and when they lined up to do a demonstration, she decided she would rather be on the dancers side than the participating audience. She was quite the little star and we had several people come up to us letting us know how adorable she was. Dad is already looking forward to all the dance recitals that will certainly come :)
She was really excited to get a tiara and wand

We slept all the way through shopping, the drive home and an hour after
We did a little bit of Black Friday shopping...mostly for trim for the basement, but while we were out we decided to treat Bailey to a little fun at Chuck E. Cheese. As soon as we walked in, she started dancing and didn't really stop. She got to meet Chuck E. Cheese for the first time...and was so excited! She also really enjoyed riding the rides and playing games. We lucked out because it was pretty empty, but definitely worth an impromptu stop!
We couldn't contain our excitement...yelling into a cup

We liked watching Daddy play Jurassic Park
Before I get too far down, I want to share pics from this year's Halloween! It was a very warm halloween so we didn't get to wear our main costume until Halloween night, but we were definitely prepared for the earlier Halloween events with our dress up clothes! Bailey loved going to Olathe's Fall Fest dressed as Minnie and as luck would have it, we were directly behind a little Mickey. They were super cute together and had so much fun! Bailey really enjoyed helping Daddy carve the pumpking and decorating hers with markers. On Halloween we stopped by Daddy's work to do a little early trick-or-treating and then went through our neighborhood and Grandma's neighborhood for the main event. Bailey loved saying "Please" when asking for Halloween candy and really liked it when people thought she was cute enough for two pieces.

We had one of the warmest Novembers that I can remember, and we made sure to take full advantage to do as much outdoors as we could. We even took Grandma to the Zoo...the day before it dropped 30*. Bailey loved mimicking the animal sounds and we even got to go on the African Sky Safari. Bailey waved at all the animals and wasn't scared to be up that high, even though Grandma may have gotten a bit nervous with all the wind!
She wanted to pose by the lion water fountain

Dad took a few days off this week and when we didn't make him work on the basement, we decided to have some fun and try out the new Main Event in Olathe. We called Uncle Mat and Grandma and spent the day bowling, playing games and watching the boys climb around on the zero gravity high ropes. Bailey had so much fun bowling for the first time!

We really miss Grandpa and can't wait for him to get back, but we did make a stop for some ice cream and got to talk to him. Bailey was laughing and so excited to hear from him.

Grandpa is so cool...and so is ice cream
Our girl loves to play dress up and we have collected a number of items for her to dig into. If she can wear a princess dress or a hat at all times, she will and most of the time she does. She has been known to make shopping trips and grocery runs in her favorite dress and loves all the attention she gets.

Poor princess doesn't feel well, but our dress helps
One of Bailey's favorite activities this fall is playing in the leaves. She loves to get in them, jump around and throw them high in the air. She really enjoyed getting to rake them up and mulch them with Daddy this year...we can't wait for her to be big enough to make a dent in them!
Our Wiggles & Giggles class is still going strong and we even have a recital next weekend! Not sure how our kiddos will do, but it will definitely be fun to watch. Bailey has learned so much in the class and we will definitely be signing up for another session!
Lining up against the wall
We love to visit parks, but our favorite ones are the ones where our brother, Tequila, can run free. e are fortunate to live near a lot of great dog parks and Bailey loves meeting new pups and getting down in the dirt.

One of my favorite action shots
Tequila really enjoys the frequent trips to the dog park and always makes sure to protect his little sister if some dogs get too near. They are so funny to watch, and luckily Tequila is very patient...especially since Bailey likes to dress him up too. She loves to give him hugs and kisses and snuggle with him as much as possible, He tolerates it, but secretly loves it.

We've been battling a cold this past week, which means a lot more snuggles than usual. This girl is always on the go and naps are very few and far between, but when she finally wears herself out, we like to catch her dozing off.
Now here are a few more of my favorite pics from this past month...

We have been working hard on the basement so we haven't gotten a ton of decorations up but Dad surprised Bailey with a special outside decoration this year. She was really excited!
We will update you soon on our progress of the basement remodel, let's just say it's coming along nicely! Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
XOXO,
