Our sweet and rambunctious girl is 17 months old today! We enjoyed the last few days of summer but are definitely ready for fall weather and all the fun festivals and outdoor events.

Bailey definitely has a mind of her own...from fashion to activities, she will let you know what she wants and when she wants it. She is more outgoing everyday and loves making new friends. She has added several new words to her vocabulary including "please", "apple", colors including "blue", "green" and "pink", but one of her favorite phrases is "Go, Go, Go!". She is quite the talkative one and loves to show off her favorite animal sounds for all sorts of animals including sheep, pigs, owls, bees, and crocodiles. She will also show you her penguin waddle and that giraffes have long necks. She's a pretty smart cookie and loves to prove it, even when it's doing something she knows she's not supposed to. Testing boundaries is one of her favorite things to do, whether she's sneaking over to dump out Tequila's water dish or get into Mommy's paperwork or laundry, she's quick and keeps us on her toes. Her favorite game when Dad is home is to find new ways to sneak over to Tequila's water dish without him noticing and giggling uncontrollably when he catches her. Even though she has her moments, she has really turned into a very thoughtful and sweet girl, sharing her toys and giving hugs to all her friends and family. We love watching our little monkey grow and explore each day!
This past month Grandma and Grandpa Schorr came up to Kansas City with Granny to visit and we took advantage of some beautiful weather by stopping by Dunn's Cider Mill for the best cider doughnuts in town and introduced them to the Renaissance Festival for more outdoor fun. Bailey loved to show off her new skills and give lots of hugs while they were in town!

We have really gotten into the groove at Wiggles and Giggles and now we are usually the most active in class. Bailey loves her teacher Ms. Starr and to show off her sweet dance moves. She loves to play with the scarves and hula hoops but our favorite part is the obstacle course - even if we find it a bit challenging to wait our turn. Here are some of our favorite moments:

Bailey sure loves her Disney Princesses and loves to get into character whenever she can. We have been on the lookout for princess dresses on our weekly treasure hunts and have found some great costumes. She loves to put on her dresses and show them off...even if it means a fancy trip to the grocery store!

Bailey loves to play outside, digging in the dirt and picking flowers, running around the playgrounds or chasing after her brother at the dog park. We are so excited that the weather is getting cooler so that we can be out all day! Today we even met up with our friends Franny, Liam, Piper and Miss Ally at our favorite park. Bailey loves Franny and followed her around the entire time.

We also found time to visit Deanna Rose this month with Daddy! We loved showing him our favorite animals and playgrounds and feeding the goats!

Bailey is quite the wild child. She loves to run and play, shake her booty and get into everything. Chores are always more interesting when Bailey decides to help. She never slows down and can quickly wear you out, but we have so much fun watching her!

The end of summer also brings Tequila's favorite event...Dog Day at the pool! Bailey had so much fun watching her brother get in and swim with Dad and Uncle Mat and Tequila was worn out for the next few days afterwards!

Tequila is such a good big brother and Bailey loves him so much. He is very patient with her and allows a lot of hugs and kisses. He loves to go to the park with her and follow it up with a nap or two.
