Bailey's First Road Trip

Hope everyone had a safe and Happy 4th of July! We had a whirlwind weekend with so many memories including Bailey's first road trip, wedding and meeting the Saxowskys. You may have heard us talk about our Fargo family, our Bison Herd or Easter Family before, but many people don't know how long our families have been friends and I don't know if I would be able to add up all the years but I think this picture might be a great indicator...

The handsome guy in the back on the far left is my Grandfather Milton and my Great Grandfather Reifschneider is seated in the chair along with Great Grandfather Saxowsky in the front right corner. Mt dad grew up and helped out on the farm alongside David & George and is the Godfather to Stacey, the beautiful bride we came up to celebrate!

I am so blessed to have known them all of my life and to continue the friendship and shenanigans (we all know what I'm talking about!) for all these years. They're family and we were so excited to introduce them to Bailey - especially since I had just told Brian I was pregnant the day before they visited last September so he could help me keep the secret!

Take a look at our Fargo adventure:

Bailey loved hanging with the girls
With Grandma, Aunt Mary and Breckin
Watching a movie like a big girl
We were really tired after such a long day of driving and meeting everyone, so we slept until about 9am the next morning. Then we had to get up and get into our red, white and blue outfit for our first 4th of July!

I think she was sick of us taking pictures :)
Off to breakfast with Daddy
After breakfast we decided to take a trip to NDSU's campus so Daddy could see the Fargo Dome and check out the beautiful campus.

Pulling the Bison's tail
Showing the Bison who's boss
Mess with the Bison, you get the horns (Boo Sioux)
Next we trucked over to Scheel's to show Daddy what all the hype was about and we got to see all of the NDSU championship rings and did a little shopping before heading back over to the Saxowsky's to hang out with everyone getting ready for the wedding. Bailey loved seeing everyone get their hair done and all the beautiful dresses and bows that Mary made. We also got to see Karl and Shana's house and all of the hard work they put in! It's fun looking at home renovations that we didn't have to sweat over! Then we had to head back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding...
Family pic before the wedding
The wedding was at The Red River Zoo in Fargo and before the ceremony we got a chance to look around at all the animals and go on our first carousel ride.

After the ride, it was almost show time. We couldn't have had a more beautiful evening...the setting and the weather were perfect. Here are some of our favorite moments from the wedding:

The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was so much fun. We danced, sang and toasted the beautiful couple. We are so lucky to have such special people in our lives and we are so glad we were able to celebrate the Markeys! We can't wait for our next trip up north!

Ready for the long road home
Hope you enjoyed looking back at our adventure as much as we did. Until next time...

XOXO,

Sara, Brian, Bailey and Tequila
