Where has this summer gone? I know they say time flies when you're having fun, but this summer has zoomed by. I can't believe it's almost September but we are looking forward to the fall filled with lots of festivals, celebrations and outdoor fun. But today we are celebrating that our baby girl is 4 months old!
Bailey Jayne - 4 Months Old
Bailey had her 4 month checkup this morning and she now weighs 14 lbs. 14 oz. and is 25" long! We had to do another round of shots today, which was no fun, but she took the 4 vaccines like a champ. Grandma is coming over today to give us extra snuggles so we'll be staying in on this rainy day.

Bailey is growing by leaps and bounds...and speaking of leaps, she loves to bounce around all day long. She loves jumping in her jumper and on Mommy and Daddy's lap all day. We have so much fun watching her as she laughs, jumps and grabs at everything. She loves going on long walks with Tequila, playing with her many toys, splashing in the bath, grabbing her toes, putting just about anything in her mouth and snuggling in on Mommy's chest.
We have definitely found our voice this month and love to chat with Daddy all about our day. We are very animated and get really excited about the sounds coming out of our mouth (she may have a future on the airwaves). We also like to sing along with Mommy before bed and while we dance around the house, but Daddy's the one that really stirs the chatter.
There is no love quite like the love of a girl and her dog. It has been so fun watching Bailey and Tequila grow closer together. Tequila has always been protective of her, but now he actually likes to play and come up to give her kisses. Plus we go on lots of walks and go to the park to play, so Tequila thinks Bailey is a super cool little sis!

Splish Splash we were taking a bath! Bailey loves bath time, especially in the big tub with Mommy because it's a full family affair (including Tequila). And this month Mom got out our new tub and we got to splash in the sink. We have too much fun in the water and can't wait until we start swim lessons!

I'm on a boat! Bailey went on her first boat ride this month, special thanks to Marcy and Art for hosting us! To say she loved it would be an understatement. She had so much fun looking at the water, the wind in her hair and she even got to be captain for a bit! We can't wait for many more lake trips to come!

Busting out of the house! We love getting out of the house whenever we can with our BFFs, especially going on walks or to the dog park with Tequila and Grandma-Mom-Bailey Days every Friday. Deanna Rose is one of our favorites and we still treasure hunt at garage sales. How else could we have found all our favorite toys? We love exploring and are really lucky that the weather has been nice so that we can get out a lot.

Daddy Daughter Hair Academy is back and Dad is having a lot more fun styling Bailey's longer hair. She thinks it's funny because it makes Dad laugh and we've learned that our hair stays that way until our next bath...which means lots of fun comments from strangers while we are out and about.

Bailey loves being close to Mom so we have really gotten into baby wearing and our collection is growing. We have our K'tan for long walks with Tequila, our Solly for outdoor adventures and our Ring Sling for shopping fun. It definitely makes business meetings smoother and housework a lot easier, plus Bailey loves smiling and talking to everyone at their level.

Speaking of business meetings, Miss Bailey has become quite the young professional. She helps Mom out with invoices and scripts and has even sat in on some client meetings. She loves going out with Mom and meeting new people, but they can definitely be exhausting! But don't worry, it's not all work and no play...we get lots of play time and our favorite is our Jumper. We're not big enough for it quite yet but we have full head/neck control and love to bounce so we stuck a pillow underneath her and she will bounce til her hearts content. We love playtime more and more each day because we can grab onto our toys, put them in our mouth and move them around our blanket.Take a look at some of our favorites:
